"I dwell among the people"
Hello everyone, I hope you are well and keeping safe. Another beautiful day. Just came in from prayers in the parking lot. I was happy to take you with me. Our little shrine brings so much comfort to many people. Not a day goes by that I don't see a person or a family stop by and pray. Today as I was sitting in my office upstairs, I could hear a father and son praying the Hail Mary. Wonderful!
I was tempted today to think if only I fixed up my desk and straightened out all of my affairs, I would be in a much better spiritual place. It is probably very true. But I need to remember that God walks with me here and now. Certainly, clean up the desk, straighten out the room, answer all your (e)mail, get it together---all these are great things. I would probably enjoy God more personally yet still I can enjoy and experience Him here and now in my messiness. Probably revealing too much!!!
Have a great day everyone, let us pray for one another.
In the meantime, here is a great quote from one of my favorites, John Henry Newman:
"I sought to hear the voice of God
and climbed the topmost steeple,
but God declared: Go down again,
I dwell among the people."
