Dear Parishioners and Members of our IHM School Community,
As we begin a joyful and meaningful Catholic Schools Week, I want to extend my sincere thanks to you for the many ways you support Immaculate Heart of Mary School. This week highlights what makes IHM so special: our strong Catholic identity, our commitment to academic excellence, and the deep sense of community that surrounds our students each day.
At IHM, faith and academics are inseparable. Our students pray together, serve others, and are challenged to think critically and work hard in the classroom. We are intentional about educating the whole child-mind, heart, and spirit-and the fruits of that work are evident in our students’ growth, confidence, and success.
This past week also brought a moment of great pride as our Class of 2026 began receiving their high school acceptance letters. Our eighth graders earned acceptances to schools such as The Ursuline School, Fordham Preparatory School, School of the Holy Child, Iona Preparatory School, Maria Regina High School, Montfort Academy, Salesian High School, and Archbishop Stepinac High School, Dominican Academy, among others. Even at this early stage, families have already been notified of close to $150,000 in academic scholarships and merit-based awards which is a powerful reflection of the strong academic foundation and preparation our students receive here at IHM.
These accomplishments do not happen by chance. They are the result of dedicated teachers who go above and beyond, families who partner closely with us, parish leadership who supports our mission, and students who bring a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and grounded faith into everything they do. Catholic education matters, and the success of our students, academically, spiritually, and personally, continues to affirm that truth.
As we begin the second half of the school year, we do so with gratitude, pride, and great excitement for what lies ahead. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and continued support of Immaculate Heart of Mary School. Together, we remain committed to forming confident, capable, and faith-filled children who are prepared for the next chapter and rooted in our Catholic faith.
With gratitude,
Tracy Keelin
