While we extend to all in our parish, congratulations on graduation these months of May and June, we have some celebrations on-campus:
The past Wednesday we honored the seniors moving on at HSOR (photos will follow in a future bulletin)!
IHM's 8th graders will be graduated this upcoming Friday.
This Wednesday, June 12th will be the last school Mass of the academic year at 9am.
Sunday, June 23rd will be a 2pm Sensory Friendly / Special Needs Mass at IHM. All are welcome!
That same weekend will be the IHM Social Ministries Good Will Donation Event in the lower church.

Regularly Scheduled Vigil Mass followed by a BBQ, Games and music!

After each Mass, coffee and donuts served outside, weather-permitting.
Our next Midnight Run is scheduled for June 8th. Many have answered our call for donations as they start their spring cleaning projects. Especially needed for these next Runs are men’s jeans from waist size 30-42 and all lengths. This is in addition to sneakers, sweatpants, hoodies, backpacks, shorts and T-shirts. All items should be gently used or better. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of Midnight Run—driving, sorting, food prep—please email ihmmidnightrun@gmail.com, thank you!

IHM Social Ministry Good Will Donation Event

Over the weekend of June 22/23, IHM's Social Ministry volunteers
will be sponsoring a second Good Will Donation event to raise funds
for our Social Ministries Account that helps those in need
as well as our various Social Ministries
(MIDNITE RUN, HOPE, FOOD PANTRY & more).
This event will display IHM memorabilia and a variety of household items generously donated by our IHM parishioners.
Please help to support the IHM Social Ministry efforts
by selecting from the various items and making a free will donation.
There will also be a 50/50 Raffle.
IHM Religious Education 2024-2025 Registration is NOW OPEN
On the day of your child's/children's Baptism, the Church pledged to you, the parents, our assistance in raising them in the practice of the faith to keep God's commandments as Jesus taught us, by loving God and our neighbor. Here at Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Religious Education Program is part of this integral formation in the faith that would include daily prayer at home, family participation in Sunday Mass (and on Holy Days of Obligation), periodic Confession, and the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy flowing out from your dinner table.
IHM Religious Education Registration for the 2024-2025 school year for grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade opened on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Registration, including credit card payment, is completed online and is on a first-come-first-served basis.
Returning Families should sign in to www.parishgiving.org to register. You should have received an email to remind you of your username.
IHM CYO Summer Volleyball Camp
IHM CYO is running a summer Volleyball camp for students in grades 4 to 8 who are parishioners of IHM and/or attend our IHM School.
- Session One will be held from July 22 to July 26 from 4PM to 7PM
- Session Two be held from July 29 to August 2 from 4PM to 7PM
The fee is $155 per session. A Tee shirt is included.
IHM CONTINUING EVENTS
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION AT IHM
- IHM High School of Religion (HSOR): HSOR welcomes all high school students to our gatherings Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00PM in the Lower Church (next meeting is this week). We offer a fun and relaxing faith community of service projects, Prayer & Pizza, Game Nights, sacraments, lively discussions and Open Gym. Come see why our students say HSOR “is a night out in the middle of the week!” For more information, please contact Nancy Vericker at nancy@nancyvericker.com.
- IHM Women's Prayer Group: The Prayer Group holds weekly prayer gatherings for women Thursdays from 7:00-8:00PM in the Church Library. For more information, please contact the Rectory (914-723-0276 or ihmchurch@ihmscarsdale.org).
- Charismatic Morning of Renewal Meeting at the House of Prayer: This group meets on Thursdays after the 9:00AM parish Mass - Morning Prayer, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with Intercessory Prayer and a discussion of the Scripture Readings for the coming Sunday.
- IHM School of Community: this group meets on Wednesdays at 7:00PM in the IHM Rectory Conference Room to look at our daily life and discover who we are as Christians. The text discussed is "The Religious Sense" by Father Luigi Giussani. If you are interested in attending via Zoom, please contact the Rectory and ask to be put in contact with Carolyn of School of Community.
- IHM Bible Discussion Group: The IHM Bible Discussion Group meets every Tuesday night through mid-June from 7PM to 8:30PM in the IHM lower Church and are currently reading John's Gospel. Parishioners gather to read, analyze, and discuss Sacred Scripture while enjoying a little dessert and each other’s company. To make Bible Discussion more accessible at IHM and accommodate those unavailable on Tuesday night, there is a do-it-yourself-at-home option. - IHM Troop 2 (Boy Scouts): this group welcomes 5th through 8th grade boys interested in outdoor adventure. - IHM College Group: Sign up to receive upcoming news through the email notice. All the best with end of classes and exams. Congratulations to our upcoming graduates. A gathering will be planned after graduations. CLICK HERE if you would like to inquire. We will contact you directly!
- IHM Young Adult Group for those in their 20's & 30's: We will plan an IHM gathering at some point.
- On June 12th, we will be having our monthly Holy Hour for Life at St. Ann's Chapel on Midland Avenue in Yonkers at 7PM. Please join us as we give thanks and pray for the protection of all human life, marriage and family, the healing of those touched by abortion and the protection of all human life, marriage and family.
- Walk with the Province of St. Mary in the Fight Against Poverty at the Heart & Sole Capuchin Walk-A-Thon, June 15th from 9AM - 11:15AM at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains. Funds raised will support Capuchin Family Ministries summer programs to provide aid to the underserved in the Hudson Valley and Appalachia. Individuals, Teams, and Sponsors can join us; registration is $25 for individuals ($20 for early birds!) and includes a T-shirt, snacks, fun, and games. - Catholic Widows and Widowers of Yonkers will meet on Thursday, June 20th, at St. Ann's Church in Father Anthony Hall (31 College Place, Yonkers), at 12:30pm. Speaker from the Yonkers Community Action Program will talk about the services of their organization. For more information, call (914) 423-5331. New members are always welcome.
- Beginning Experience of the Hudson Valley is a peer led ministry that
serves those grieving the end of a marriage or spousal relationship due to death, divorce, or separation. We invite men and women of all ages to attend our upcoming program - In the Beginning…Coping with Life Alone. This is a one day remote via Zoom program held on Saturday, June 22nd from 9AM to 4PM. For more information, call Jim at (845) 220-7883 or Denise at (845) 325-3147. - 2024 March for Life New York: This event will take place on Monday, June 24th at 12PM in Albany, NY. There will be a bus service sponsored by Westchester-Putnam Right to Life Committee. The cost is $55 per person (checks payable to WPRTLC, c/o Tom Byrne, 1 Sherwood Terrance, Apt. 2C, Yonkers, NY 10704). - The Serra Club of the Bronx and Westchester will be holding its monthly luncheon meeting on June 26th at the Eastwood Manor (3371 Eastchester Road, Bronx). Guest speaker this month is Reverend Robert P. Badillo, M.ID., pastor of Our Lady of Solace-St. Dominic’s Church. Five course lunch is $42. - A senior parishioner is looking for an accessible apartment in the area for $1,000 or under. Please reach out to the pastor with any information.
